We are looking for a Digital Ad Operations Manager to manage the daily operations of digital transit content and advertising scheduling for all digital assets on the Chicago and Minneapolis digital out-of-home transit network. This is a unique opportunity to take an influential role in working directly with high-profile transit organizations, including the largest municipal transit authority in the midwest.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily CMS / ad serving operations for flawless execution
  • Oversee daily trafficking, scheduling and digital out-of-home campaign management
  • Increase scheduling efficiency by optimizing work flow and standard CMS/ad serving solution
  • Facilitate the creation of dynamic ad content via 3rd party development or within internal CMS / ad serving solution
  • Monitor external data feeds and troubleshoot if needed
  • Work with 3rd party vendors if needed
  • Work with CTA / Metro Transit to update dynamic train information schedules
  • Document existing scheduling and digital ad ops practices
  • Drive automation and efficiency of proof-of-play and proof-of-performance solutions
  • Work with digital operations and hardware/tech team to maintain optimal CMS /ad serving solution
  • Respond to sales inquiries regarding digital ad ops capabilities
  • Stay abreast of current and upcoming CMS/ad serving technology product capabilities
  • Work directly with CTA and Metro Transit digital operations personnel on digital content related inquiries and executions

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in digital ad ops, including trafficking and scheduling digital assets
  • Thorough understanding of digital signage content delivery workflow and terminology
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Proficiency in Windows and Windows applications

Preferred skills & experience

  • Digital Signage, digital place-based, digital out-of-home experience
  • Experience in ad tech project management
  • Experience using various digital signage CMS systems
  • Experience working with RSS/XML/JSON
  • A background in IT
