Canon Financial Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our 2016 Canon Insights Intern Program. The Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs for 10 weeks during the summer. This is a full-time (8:30 AM to 5 PM), 37.50 hours a week, paid internship. This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects and exposure to various business units within Canon.
The Project Management Intern will supports project work through attending meetings, capturing notes and distributing minutes. Help consolidate and organize team status reports and communications. Provides assistance in creating and reviewing MS Office deliverables including Excel and PowerPoint
Attend project meetings
Capture notes and distribute minutes
Gathers project statuses and helps format templates
Organizes/maintains department website
Assist in the creation and/or analysis of Excel and PPT documents
Helps draft department communications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
Basic understanding of MS Office tools
Strong comprehension and writing skills
Ability to communicate well both in person and in writing
Well organized with strong attention to detail
Willing to learn and take on new tasks
