Position Overview:
The Account Executive representing the Business Imaging Systems Group, imagePROGRAF Division, is responsible for selling imagePROGRAF wide format products, systems, software and services in assigned territory through indirect sales channels such as: Resellers, Dealers, VAR, OEM, Systems Integrators, Alliances, Partners, Aggregators, Mass Merchandisers or Retail. Represents the company to the Channel and the Channel to the company in all sales and sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, training and other Channel-related support.

Responsibilities:
The Account Executive is responsible for supporting and growing Canon’s market share within the current resellers and within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include but not limited to: training, accumulating and supporting the reseller’s sales and support staff to Canon’s imagePROGRAF products, programs, software and services. Providing support and guidance for product launches, trade shows, open houses, and presentations to major accounts is required. The Account Executive is required to develop local strategies to promote each reseller’s sells growth of imagePROGRAF printers to end-users and must understand the business dynamics of P&L, staffing, administration, service, support and inventory models. Implement and administer a Canon imagePROGRAF printer strategy to gain mindshare and “buy in” among resellers that fosters and promotes long-term growth of the channel is critical.

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying, recruiting and supporting new resellers.

Possessing the ability to research, investigate and report on competitive products and technology trends to Channel leadership is a requirement.

Account Executive must be self-motivated who can manage the territory as a business professional.

Must be able to schedule activity, plan meeting and resolves reseller’s issues. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility adhering to financial budgets and targets set forth by leadership. Submits paperwork and reports on time as required by leadership and other departments within Canon. Submit weekly reports and sales forecasts. Provides product and market feedback to Canon management on industry trends, dealer activity, customer changes, business opportunities, product demands and other events that will allow Canon to meet customers’ needs and overcome competitive challenges.

Qualifications:
The Account Executive for the Business Imaging Systems Group, imagePROGRAF Division must possess a bachelor’s Degree.

At least 5 years of related sales work experience is required.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Must be able to identify sales trends and accurately forecast reseller’s sellout. Must live within the territory.TX, OK Louisiana Southwestern States.

Job requires 75% weekly overnight travel. This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
