Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:
Maintains schedules and calendars for numerous meetings by constructively challenging, defining purpose, and prioritizing requests so that objectives are fulfilled. This includes setting up meetings and assisting in the management of those meetings.
Plans both domestic and international travel which includes coordinating flight schedules, hotel accommodations and rental car reservations.
Anticipates passport and visa requirements.
Serves as one of the primary contacts for the GBU. Includes responsibility of understanding Company issues, strategies, procedures, and policies.
Arranges schedules of visitors, both domestic and foreign, so that their business purpose is fulfilled.
Responsible for ownership of shared folder permissions; responsible for the implementation of records retention compliance procedures for these folders.
Organizes and participates in function and sub-function event planning
Build and leverage an internal network across the Office Professional community at Dow AgroSciences
This role is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Relocation is not available for this position.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
5 years previous successful experience in an office professional, administration, or documentation management role
Previous Travel Arrangements and Expense reporting using Concur systems
The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality is required.
Proven technical computer skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Sharepoint.
Must have demonstrated flexibility, self-management, and organizational skills.
The ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple duties while working under critical deadlines.
Must be results-oriented and positive team attitudes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills are required.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (U.S. citizen, U.S.
Permanent Resident, or Qualifying Asylee/Refugee).
Education:
An associate’s degree in Office Administration, Office Management or other business discipline
