Position Overview:

The Sales Planning Analyst will be responsible for moderately complex financial analyses and reporting for department management. To achieve further growth in a mature market, more strategic and effective actions are required based on macro analysis and micro analysis of our partners and customers.

The main role will be to collect and analyze information on sales and Dealer/ Customer profile to assist in the development of sales strategy and strategic decision making for senior management members in BISG.


  • Collect and analyze information on sales and expenses in order to provide accurate and timely reports to assist in the development of long range & short term sales forecasts, budgets and quotas.
  • Compile monthly sales/forecast information including sales volumes, gross profit and unit sales projections to determine actual and projected sales results by product type and sales region.
  • Liaise with the various Canon departments.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate product inventory levels to ensure sales quotas are achieved.
  • Will also prepare and analyze major financial forecasts.
  • May be assigned analyses in support of organization’s annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, or statistical reporting.


  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business administration.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in business/sales administration and budgeting, as well as a working knowledge of corporate budget/accounting procedures is required.
  • Candidate should be analytical and detail oriented with proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access is required.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
