Position Overview:
This national position is field based and will be responsible for the business development of Canon USA’s production printing software and services business. This includes developing go-to-market strategies and marketing deliverables for Canon’s PRISMA software, professional services and 3rd party offerings.

A strong understanding of the production printing market and digital printing workflows is required along with expertise in developing and implementing marketing programs and sales tools. The business development specialist will work closely with Product Marketing and field sales teams to identify and drive required initiatives to meet business objectives.

Create and execute a yearly plan regarding go-to-market strategies and programs to develop the workflow solutions business. This includes:

Develop and implement go-to-market activities to help drive software and services including i.e., open houses events, roadshows, presentations, dealer workshops

Manage the creation of new marketing and sales tools i.e., solution guides, white papers, case studies, ROI tools

Identify and grow new 3 rd party and professional services offerings

Create go-to-market launch plans for new Canon software, professional services and 3 rd party solutions

Provide input to Product Marketing relative to software roadmaps, requirements and offerings

Develop and support workflow positioning at key industry trade shows and conferences

Support Canon and dealers sales in positioning and selling workflow solutions

Develop and manager relationships with strategic 3rd party partners.

The incumbent in this position ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree and have 7+ years of experience marketing or sales experience in production printing.

Must be proficient in production workflows and technology and possess strong oral and written communication skills.

Must possess detailed knowledge of network systems, printing solutions, systems integration services and computer hardware/software solutions.

Strong project management skills are required for managing the various project and initiatives

Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.

Due to the travel required, as part of the regular duties and responsibilities of this position, this offer is also conditioned upon your having a proper valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations within the prior 36 month period. Additionally, you will need to hold a valid credit card in which you can incur travel expenses. All travel expenses will be reimbursed according to the Company’s travel policy.
