Position Overview:
Canon U.S.A., Inc. is currently seeking a Central Services Coordinator I to join our corporate office in Melville, NY . Under general supervision, perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies equipment and finished products. Utilizes small hand tools and operate material handling equipment including fork lifts, skids pallets handlers, hand trucks, etc.

Collects, sorts and delivers incoming, outgoing and interoffice mail and packages.

Loads and unloads mail and packages to and from truck manually and with industrial motorized equipment.

Prepares and ships equipment and customer supply orders utilizing appropriate carriers.

Receives and prepares equipment orders for the service departments for set up of customer orders.

Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Follow established measures to maintain security and safety of warehouse area and inventory.

Creates a “Receiving Report” on the computer database that tracks inventory, designates a recipient of goods and materials, and routes delivery to ordering department from the carrier invoice and the purchase order.

Identifies major assets with Canon inventory code, inputs inventory code into database, and advises purchasing agents of levels of inventory.

Physically distributes stock and office supplies to designated copier centers.

This position requires a HS degree, or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience.

Valid NY State drivers license

This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.

Ability to lift 50lbs.

Ability to use a fork-lift, electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, hand trucks and flatbed carts.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with customers.
