Job Title Consultant, Software Engineering – Web Content Management This individual contributor will provide support of web content management applications, monitoring through programming, analysis, design, development and delivery of multi-channel web content solutions. This position will be focused on architectural guidance, development technologies, build automation and system administration of Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 at the enterprise level for MasterCard.

Major Accountabilities: • Responsible for setting architectural direction for the Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 platform. • Responsible for driving architectural, development, and testing guidelines for applications hosted within the Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 platform. • Responsible for establishing a technical roadmap for the continued improvement of the Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5 platform. • Responsible for programming, testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support of web content management software components in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and industry best practices.

  • Develop high quality, secure, scalable web content management solutions based on technical requirements specifications and design artifacts within expected time and budget. • Develop web content management solutions using Java, JSP, JCR, OSGI, HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript and other related development technologies. • Integrate content feeds via API, JSON, XML, and RSS from both internal and external sources into web content management components. • Integrate enterprise standard Adobe Web Analytics tagging into web content solutions built in Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5.
  • Work with project team to meet scheduled due dates, while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems and independently perform assigned tasks. • Support internal and external users of the web content management system. Perform production incident management and participate in on-call escalation pager support rotation. • Document application components for support and training materials for MasterCard Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
  • Assist Senior Team members in modification of the documentation templates per the needs of the project and technology. • Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance standards, leverage best practices, and improve process efficiency. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience. Knowledge / Experience: • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager/CQ5.
  • Experienced in the area of web content management. • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required. • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Java, and JSP is required. • Experience with search engine optimization, responsive design principles and web analytics is preferred.

Skills/ Abilities: • Must be high-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment. • Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities. • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organizational skills. • Ability to work as a member of a matrix-based, diverse and geographically distributed project team.
