In addition this position is responsible for the following:
Manages Warn Industries’ online presence (including WARN.com) to assure consistency with strategy and messaging. Works closely with key stakeholders within Marketing and throughout the organization to achieve success.
Develops and executes the WARN social strategy, including content development and curation appropriate for cross-channel integration, and optimized for SEO.
Develops strategies and programs that generate brand awareness and engagement through owned web properties and paid online advertising.
Works with key stakeholders to plan and execute online advertising programs, including creative development, deployment and performance of placements. Works closely with the Director of Marketing with regards to budgets.
Develops, nurtures and manages WARN content on various social platforms, the WARN blog, and enthusiast forums to generate positive exposure for the brand and products.
Facilitates content creation for WARN web properties and social media platforms. Works with Marketing Department and Product Market/Managers to create content in alignment with strategic objectives.
Generates content for the WARN website, blog, newsletter and press releases. Proofreads and edits a variety of digital documents including, but not limited to, newsletters, press releases, factory bulletins, catalogs, marketing collateral material.
Works closely with key stakeholders from Product Marketing, Sales and Marketing Services teams to integrate content on WARN.com, product launch campaigns and ensure linkage with sales promotions, PR, social and paid advertising.
Provides social media training for internal and external parties (includes customer, partners, dealers, etc.).
Develops analytics reporting that tracks and reports on performance of campaigns and effectiveness of activities.
Manages, monitors and engages social media/Internet communities and authors creative messaging and copywriting for social media communications.
Interacts with outside online communities, blogs, message boards, email discussion groups, RSS feeds, forums and live chats to generate exposure, publicity and traffic.
Responsible for being passionately in-tune with the latest social media developments, online behaviors and trends.
Uses knowledge gained through analysis to provide insight on forecasting, budgeting and social media marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or Business with emphasis in Marketing or Digital Marketing.
At least six years of work experience in digital marketing activities.
Demonstrated experience in driving audience engagement and site traffic through digital marketing activities, including advertising, social media, online promotions and outbound communications.
Must be an enthusiastic and avid user of social media/Internet communities and understanding of social media platforms.
Demonstrated experience in automotive and/or Powersports social media communities.
Strong written, oral and time management skills required.
Strong understanding of SEO and SEM and proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel required.
Writing/Copy Experience – strong command of English language, while understanding advertising and marketing language. Experience effectively writing blog content is required.
Experience in Jeep, Truck and/or Powersports off-road markets strongly preferred.
