Canon Financial Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our 2016 Canon Insights Intern Program. The Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs for 10 weeks during the summer. This is a full-time (8:30 AM to 5 PM), 37.50 hours a week, paid internship. This program is designed to provide students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects and exposure to various business units within Canon.
The Documentation Intern will work closely with Peer/Buddy/Manager on our ongoing projects within Independent and SAO Documentation. Additionally, intern will partner with Doc Admin and Contract Management on their functions, spending 50% of time in each area.
We’ll have the Intern engaged in ongoing projects in Independent and SAO
The intern will gain exposure on our Independent Private label documents, and assist on Product Profiles to be published thru
The intern will review Private Label Docs to help team ensure most recent copies of documents are housed centrally, and support their Peer/buddy/Manager.
The intern will participate on CCAN project with buddy/peer to assist on
The intern will also gain experience on IRS With a massive renewal of transactions in 2016, intern will work with buddy/peer/Manager on data review I revisions.
Intern will have regular daily/weekly check-in’s with their Peer/buddy/mentor(s).
Intern will be engaged with other interns throughout CFS, and be involved in their projects/goal
Intern will be placed into a win-win environment for coverage, as we have many tenured employees, we’ll look for the Intern to cover incoming volume during peak summer periods, and this will enhance their business skills and acumen as to a daily business
We’ll look for opportunities to get the Intern exposure to CUSA, Indy dealers, eithervia conference call and/or meetings.
We prefer students that are entering their Junior or Senior year as of the Summer 2016, however, all are welcome to apply. To succeed in the Insights Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power point, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to be enrolled in a related major in the department of interest and have some former work or internship experience.
Students majoring in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
