Based in Irvine , Calif., you will use your experience to provide customer support through the performance of onsite installation of Photolithography Steppers and Scanners.
You will also provide any necessary troubleshooting and equipment repairs. This is a mid level position requiring min. 5 years of related experience. 1.
Check and approve operational quality of system equipment. 2. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system equipment. 3.
Serve as company liaison with customer on matters for assigned projects (i.e. installations and major component replacements). 4. Independently or with limited instruction perform complex repair maintenance or unit replacement according to factory procedures.
5. Provide technical support to customers and respond to questions regarding operation procedures, equipment malfunctions, and other technical issues to minimize equipment down time and ensure positive customer relations. 6. Identify equipment fatal error and/or poor performance issues suitable to aid troubleshooting/or maintenance.
7. Conduct training for Canon’s service staff and customer personnel ensuring proficiency of service and operations. 8. Assist other technicians in the field with advanced level troubleshooting and service of equipment, ensuring malfunctions are repaired in the most timely manner.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience (i.e. technical training, military training or technical school) Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field (i.e. semiconductor manufacturing equipment) Additional experience or knowledge in electronics, mechanical, optical, lasers, software, robotics, or chemical Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills Must be able to travel frequently and work flexible schedules Overnight travel approximately 30% This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
