The Field Application Specialist is responsible for inside and field-based technical sales and support of Canon BioMedical, Inc. products to customers and field personnel, as well as relaying customer feedback. The Field Application Specialist will:
Provide technical support by answering customer technical inquiries.
Assist in the development of sales support programs including sales tools and sales strategies.
Assist in the development of sales strategy and new product launches.
Record information in Customer Relationship Management system.
Recommend changes to knowledge databases, website, and other company-managed databases of technical information.
Serve on cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and to represent customer perspective and needs.
Present technical and product information at trade shows.
Master’s degree in related field required, Ph.D. in a biological science field preferred.
Three or more years of experience with, and broad knowledge of, medical device industry principles and theories required.
Four or more years of experience in scientific research required.
Ability to travel in the field 50% of the time required.
