Support web and mobile development, including but not limited to custom Web applications, Word Press development, and mobile-enabled web apps.

Primary Functions:

• Work directly with company owners and development team members to produce and maintain great web and mobile-optimized pages.
• Work with front-end development (HTML/CSS/Javascript) to deliver intuitive usability.
• Work under direction of team members as needed to extend and improve code architecture and database schema as requirements are presented.
• Exercise your creativity to get things done

Ideal Requirements:

• Intermediate Programming Skills with Recent Web Experience
• 3-5 years developing in PHP and MySQL.
• Expertise in configuring and optimizing MySQL databases and queries.
• You are a self-starter who can take direction, but more importantly figures out what to do without being told
• Proficiency using Git
• Computer Science background
• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Understanding of how code/databases must scale on the web
• Solid understanding and proven track record working with REST APIs
• Mobile / responsive design experience

Bonus Points for:

• Sysadmin/Ops skills
• Proficiency in AJAX and JavaScript.
• Expertise with parsing and publishing RSS feeds
• Working in an open environment
• Experience in other programming languages (Python/Ruby)
• Experience using mobile app frameworks such as Ionic
• Experience with Schema markup and W3C compatibility
