The primary focus of this position is on the agent website, along with representing Marketing communications on all corporate websites. This position is responsible for designing, updating and modifying all websites. In addition this position will work with various sales and marketing team members to create electronic communications to effectively communicate the company’s products and services to the appropriate audience.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all design and organize content as it pertains to agent websites, corporate Web site, and Intranet sites
  • D evelop standards and policies for quality control of Agent websites, Corporate Web site, and Intranet sites
  • Deliver reporting and metrics on the use of Agent and the corporate Web site (Search Engine Optimization planning (SEO))
  • Coordinate webinars and email communications
  • Keep abreast of current trends in electronic communication
  • Conduct competitive technology research
  • Assist Graphic Design Lead on other Marketing design projects, including electronic media such as Pardot and web design, as needed.
  • Develop standards and policies for receiving electronic updates as it pertains to our industry, partners and competitors (Google Alerts, RSS Feeds, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:
    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of HTML and Word, along with working knowledge of Excel and Access software
  • Good understanding of terminology and different types of software, hardware and other technology
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally, with employees, agents and vendors through professional conduct, tact and good judgment
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance according to written company policy
  • Advanced knowledge of Company products and services, as well as a broad knowledge of insurance products in general is preferred
  • Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree in Business or Communications, or related equivalent experience.
  • Two years of related experience with HTML tools in a business communications or marketing role preferred.
