SAIC is seeking an Internet/Intranet HTML Developer in Huntsville, AL.

Job Description:
The mid-level developer provides web services for the entire organization, and the position will be supporting all types of web development from new development to complex troubleshooting through full lifecycle of software.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Strong analytical, problem solving, and data management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse groups, managers, and subject matter experts
• Excellent skills in requirements gathering and test case documentation
• Strong skills using Microsoft office tools to analyze and communicate including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
• Experience writing reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation for a variety of audiences, from senior management to technical team members
• Demonstrates initiative in getting tasks accomplished effectively and on time
• Comfortable working both independently with stakeholders, customers, technical representatives, and under direction of project and program managers
• Adept at successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Must have ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing database specialist analysis tasks. Some independent judgment required in setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects
• Work with the various team members to design, develop, and maintain websites.
• Design, code, implement, enhance and maintain web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML
• Build interfaces to existing data systems and search engines; experience with RSS feeds

Qualifications

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Must possess a Top Secret level clearance based on a favorable SSBI or higher investigation.

Minimum Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

• BS degree and 5+ years of experience needed. Five (5) years of experience will count in lieu of degree.
• Content management systems –Cascade Server
• Web user interface design
• Security principles
• Cross-browser compatibility
• Object oriented design
• Web services – SOAP/REST
• Multimedia content development
• Imbedded automated testing
• APIs
• Experience working on a large applications team in a team environment
• Experience using Agile development methodologies
• Customer service: ability to work with clients and customers to assess needs, provide information assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations
