has an exciting opportunity for a
Lubrication Technician
located in
Pittsburg, California
. The role exists to provide lubrication and oil analysis services to the site, through the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes and lubrication tasks as per maintenance schedule.
Work with PPMC to improve PPM lubrication route efficiency
Participate as part of PPM team in making recommendations on actions to be taken to improve reliability of mechanical equipment
Collect all oil samples for analysis and ensure they get sent off timely and correctly
Work with external Lab to ensure that analysis of samples are completed.
Become proficient in the operation, use, reporting and analysis of new oil analysis technology.
Share any significant findings that need follow-up action from analysis with appropriate Maintenance Engineers / maintenance Technologists
Achieve and maintenance excellent Housekeeping in the Lube Oil shed
Work with Inventory Coordinator to ensure oil needed on site is stocked in appropriate quantity.
Special projects as assigned by site maintenance leader
Qualifications
Qualifications:
3 year experiences working in a chemical-manufacturing environment
Must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, wearing safety gear, and working in confined areas
Ability to plan, schedule and execute work with limited supervision/oversight.
Education:
High School or GED is required
An associate’s degree, trade school or P-Tech certificate is preferred
