The Content Strategy Manager will develop and manage a strategic framework to create impactful and engaging content that supports the achievement of enterprise goals. In this role, the Content Strategy Manager will coordinate and drive the work of a team of writers, designers, and producers focusing primarily on web and digital information (web pages, blog posts, multimedia, social media conversations, email newsletters, RSS feeds, etc.), and may potentially include physical and off-line content (magazines, direct mail, etc.). The Content Strategy Manager will create and manage a comprehensive plan for content marketing. This will include identifying and prioritizing stakeholder groups, understanding and codifying their decision cycles, strategizing on the optimal content to influence those decisions, and establishing the optimal timing, cadence and channels for delivering that content. In addition to setting strategy, this role may be involved in the entire content lifecycle, including writing, editing, distributing, managing and monitoring content. To be successful, the Content Strategy Manager must be knowledgeable about information architecture, delivery technologies, and anything else that affects the impact of content. Education

Minimum Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or related field.

Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Exceptionally strong management, administrative and organization skills, including ability to multitask and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to manage demanding schedules and to work both independently and within teams. Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage ambiguity, and the ability to translate theory into practical application. Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Proficient in WordPress.


Minimum Experience Requirements

5 years proven content and/or marketing veteran, with experience creating content for the web across several disciplines (text, design, video, etc.) and media (blogging, guides, whitepapers, research, infographics, podcasts, etc.).

Preferred Experience

7 years experience managing an editorial calendar for a media publication or marketing team. Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
