Job Summary The Marketing Specialist creates and executes digital, social, and data-driven initiatives to support MIGP and ACS.
Job Duties

Social Media

  • Updates Facebook and Twitter accounts with current and relevant photos, video, or other content from IPN & ACSC activities and events.
  • Creates, maintains LinkedIn accounts on agreed upon events and conferences.
  • Responds to posts or comments, with approved content to bring value to user’s interactions either IPN or ACSC.
  • Posts updates, news and announcements in a timely manner using appropriate content on designated website.
  • Performs research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our customer base and reports it accordingly project manager.
  • Grows IPN & ACSC online social networks by increasing followers/members and interactions.
  • Maintains current information in Google+.

Digital Media

  • Uploads IPN & ACSC photos and videos to the event pages.
  • Organizes and archives digital images and videos.
  • Regularly observes the online activity of model organizations researches and reports on “social media best practices”.
  • Completes other research projects as assigned.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Uses Google Analytics to assess trends and activity on the IPN & ACSC website.
  • Uses Twitter Analytics to assess trends and activity on the IPN & ACSC Twitter page.
  • Reviews data on the performance of social media platforms and adjusts plans or strategies to content.
  • Identify and forward relevant RSS feeds to appropriate parties and internal staff.
  • Repost relevant and identified Blogs to appropriate ACSC & IPN websites.
  • Heads outreach to member driven content, identifying appropriate contributors and reposting to relevant ACSC & IPN website.

Required Education, Training, Knowledge and Experience

  • Have experience in Google Analytics, Marketing CRM, data-driven metrics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Digital Media with equivalent work experience.
  • InDesign and Photoshop highly desired. Knowledge of HTML and graphic design a plus.
  • Firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space.
