You will conduct market research, monitors competitor activities and identifies market trends.

You will also play a role in training and educating our sales force on our competitive advantages and support field marketing initiatives to drive sales results. Responsibilities: Develop competitive marketing tools and strategies on new and existing product features for office solutions. Must stay abreast of market conditions, Canon’s position in the market, and comparative advantages of Canon versus competitive products. Creates sales presentations, brochures white papers, webinars, social media material in order to ensure proper communication of product features and specifications.

Assesses the needs of targeted segments within an assigned region. Relays market information for the development of appropriate marketing strategies and programs to ensure the proper positioning of Canon products. Conducts training for Canon’s sales and dealer personnel. Participates in industry trade shows, demonstrates products and fields questions from end users and channel partners.

Supports Field Marketing activities. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of related experience in a sales and/or marketing position supporting industry specific products . Should be able to present highly technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Must possess a clear understanding of network technology, connectivity and software for document solutions.

A working knowledge of communication protocols is preferred. Approximately 10 – 15 % travel is required. Due to the travel required, as part of the regular duties and responsibilities of this position, this offer is also conditioned upon your having a proper valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations within the prior 36 month period. Additionally, you will need to hold a valid credit card in which you can incur travel expenses.
