Recruiter – Experis – Columbus, OH

Experis ®, a division of Manpower Group and leader in Finance workforce solutions, is supporting one of our Fortune 500 financial clients to find a Recruiter in Columbus, OH. The individual will perform high volume sourcing and recruiting for non-exempt professional positions.

Evaluate, interview and present qualified candidates to the hiring manager for review

Generate a viable pipeline of military and veteran candidates utilizing job boards, social media, Taleo, Military Bases, referrals etc.

Perform extensive prescreening of applicants to assist recruiters and hiring managers with identifying qualified candidates.

Ensure the external military and veteran talent has experience within corporate environments

Utilize various resources to attract and identify military talent including Robots, Spiders, RSS Feeds and other automated alert/notification technology, Social Networking Tools, User Groups & Blogs, Press Releases, Company Pages and PR, Publications and Associations, Boolean Searches and Hoovers, OneSource, Factiva, Broadlook, Infogist, ZoomInfo, AIRS SourcePoint,

Stay compliant with all affirmative action/EEO Guidelines

Ensure all data is captured, updated and reported properly in the assigned candidate tracking tool

Build strong working relationships with colleagues, LOB’s and external partners.

Develop an expert knowledge of the financial services industry and the business units to discuss applicable career opportunities.

Support hiring needs by producing and submitting the appropriate number of candidates


3-5 years’ experience cold calling to source and recruit candidates

Experience recruiting for senior level financial or military positions preferred

Experience sourcing and prescreening active and passive candidate’s required

proven ability to succeed in a fast paced high volume recruiting environment

Prior financial services or banking recruitment experience preferred

Knowledge of advanced internet search techniques, negotiation and influencing skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address, respond, and follow-up with client needs

Prior experience handling sensitive/confidential information required

Technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel required.

Experience with online Applicant Tracking Systems highly desirable
