Responsible to supervise East Coast Regional Refurbishment Center Operations to include: receiving, inspecting, validation of grading, inventorying, warehousing, packaging, releasing and shipping, Quality Control inspections, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and costs auditing of the equipment refurbishment process. Provide extraordinary customer service to internal and external customers.
Supervises all logistical aspects of the East Coast Refurbishment Operations,
including but not limited to: scheduling of incoming and outgoing equipment
shipments, inspecting, validation of grading, inventorying, warehousing, Quality
Control Inspections and packaging of refurbished equipment in a productive, timely
And cost effective manner.
Helps to establish, expand and enhance East Coast Refurbishment Center Operations.
Ensure adequate resources are dedicated to achieve East Coast Refurbishment Production Targets.
Captures, monitors, audits and reports refurbishment costs.
Participates in East Coast Green Project (CLA and CMEX) Logistics.
Oversees and audits East Coast third party warehouse operations, focusing on packaging, shipping, storage and consignment fees.
Provides performance and production feedback for Repair Technicians and Warehousers timely with candid and constructive performance feedback based upon Quality Control results and production targets achieved.
Building and maintaining working relationships with individuals at CUSA, CSA, BISG, ESS, Independent Dealers, Customers, Wholesalers and within CFS.
Plans, organizes, participates, executes and leads projects, as designated, in a timely and efficient manner.
Education Required: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent work experience.
Strong Senior Repair Technician / Refurbishment Operations experience.
Entry level Management position with less than 2 years of Warehouse, Repair and Refurbishment supervisory experience.
Canon Product Specific Service Certifications preferred
Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask.
Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships while effectively managing others to achieve desired performance results.
Must possess good business, strong leadership, planning and organizing skills.
Team building and mentoring skills.
Action orientated and adaptable to changing conditions within Canon and CFS.
Sound decision making skills based upon an analysis of the facts.
