Position Overview:
This home based position will contribute to the growth and diversification of DPISD sales by providing one of the most requested support from our reseller partners – quality end-user leads. By qualifying end-users most likely to purchase and use mid-to-high-end color printers, our sales will shift to more strategic printer segments that are more immune to the general slowdown in printing. Ultimately, growing the reseller channel will diversify our sales sources and protect Canon from depending on any single channel/partner.

The main role and responsibilities of the position will be to generate high quality end-user leads to proactively create net-new sales opportunities for our reseller partners and Canon. This position will also be the lead in the growth of imageCLASS MPS program within the reseller channel. As the go-to-person for MPS, this position will be the knowledge base of Canon solutions versus competition and create effective talk track to both reseller partners and end-users.

minimum of 3 years of experience with print (ink or laser), either with a manufacturer or vendor preferred

minimum of 2 years experience with managed printer services preferred

excellent written and verbal communication proficiency

able to work with sales team in assisting their regular sales efforts

able to work independently to grow the business through new opportunities from identification, build initial relationship and support final sales closure

background demonstrating increasing proficiency in selling solutions and uncover unmet needs

Job requires up to 75% + travel. This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
