Position Overview:
Do you enjoy technical training and seek a new opportunity with an industry leader? Canon U.S.A. seeks an experienced Sales Training Field Instructor for the Business Imaging Solutions Group. This position will be based in Illinois.

At Canon U.S.A., Inc., the Field Instructor conducts product and technology courses for indirect sales force.

The Instructor interacts with sales representatives and functional organizations to deliver content of courses. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material. Supports product marketing in launching new products at dealer locations, trade shows and product truck tours.

Facilitate learning for Canon USA, dealer, and subsidiary sales forces to position and sell Canon business imaging solutions in the marketplace.

Conduct sales skill, product and technology programs for experienced and newly hired sales representatives and managers.

Utilize a variety of facilitation and instructional strategies to lead discussions and hands-on student activities.

Liaise with dealer management to insure appropriate programs are delivered at the highest quality and aligned with performance goals.

Support Product Marketing in launching new products at dealer locations, trade shows and product seminars.

Bachelors Degree required

Minimum 3 years of experience delivering skills and product training to sales professionals required

Requires general knowledge of digital technology, networking and related software products

Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills required

Prior knowledge of digital imaging industry and/or Certified Technical Trainer certification a plus

Prior knowledge of printing industry is helpful, but not required. General knowledge of technology, networking, and related software products required

Requires 40-75% overnight travel. This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job and must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
