Position Overview:
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is an advanced field sales position reporting in to the Manager of strategic Accounts. The SAE role will be accountable for driving Canon, Virtual Imaging’s growth agenda with strategic IDN’s and Key Clients. THE SAE will have accountability for IDN growth targets by leveraging solutions and current national account contracts. The primary role of the SAE is to develop senior level, sustainable client relationships where access and influence is significant and growth is consistent and long term. This individual will leverage these relationships and influence to assist sales efforts in delivering winning VI solutions.

Drive growth with assigned strategic and key clients. Responsible for overall senior client relationship management, partnering with direct sales and dealer partners to drive new growth and successful delivery execution.

Develop deep relationships with the client executives ( C-Suite and decision makers) providing strategic, thought-leadership on the clients industry and market. Understand the client’s unique business environment and challenges. Utilize consultative selling and collaboration skills to architect enterprise wide imaging solutions.

Ensure we understand the client’s strategic objectives and initiatives around medical Imaging. Partner with Service to insure client’s expectations of service and execution is cleary understood, communicated and met.

Provide input and feedback to the senior management team on market trends as represented by our strategic clients.

Direct strategic, client specific initiatives which deliver “value adds” services through the execution of IDN business plans.

Overall accountability for client retention and satisfaction. Partner with management to drive incremental improvement in client loyalty, service contract renewals and organic growth. Serve as an escalation point for client issues and remove barriers to insure high quality service.

Must have a Bachelors degree; masters preferred.

Minimum 5 years of selling capital equipment into Radiology

Candidate must be a proven self starter with a demonstrated record of meeting sales in capital equipment in radiology imaging.

Clinical and technical knowledge of DR,CR is required.

Strong interpersonal and strategic selling skills

Proven track record of selling into IDN’s and or GPO

This position requires overnight travel to make sales calls, attend trade shows, company functions, dealer events, and other events as needed.

This position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job. This position is subject to updated background checks which includes a motor vehicle report. Employee must possess a valid driver’s license, have proof of insurance and can have no more than (2) minor moving traffic violations within a thirty-six (36) month period. If requested, employee must complete a Safe Driving/Defensive Driving Class. Canon U.S.A., Inc. will utilize the information in the background checks to determine an employee’s continued eligibility to drive for company business. Employees with motor vehicle records that violate the Canon Motor Vehicle Policy may be deemed ineligible to drive on company business and/or be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including employment termination.
