We’re Digital Telepathy, but our friends call us DT. Our time is spent designing for clients we love and creating products and tools that make the web better. We practice objective-based design and agile development, so things move fast.
We’re growing on both the products and client side and are looking for great Sr. Visual Interaction Designers to be a part of our team… Interested in swiping right? Position Requirements
Our philosophy at DT is that design is never done. We are looking for a Sr. Visual Interaction Designer with the passion to solve complex business problems through objective-based design.
The Sr. Visual Interaction Designer’s job is to create beautiful and compelling interactive experiences, and is responsible for the full lifecycle of design. In this role, you will be ideating with the project team, developing original usability and design concepts, and participating in presentations to clients. This position requires a solid understanding of intuitive site functionality, site architecture, user interfaces and navigation. In addition to project work, we need someone who is a great communicator, team player, tactful diplomat and a skilled client partner all rolled into one. About You
You have significant experience creating highly-effective and beautiful user-focused interfaces across a variety of environments (mobile, web apps, dashboards, e-commerce, etc.)
You live, breathe, and sleep the web. Every day, all day. You have to want to talk and think about it non-stop at the slightest provocation. You want to leave your mark on the evolution of the Web.
You create stunning visual design with a focus on micro interactions. You love details!
You bend the Adobe Creative Suite to your will (particularly Photoshop, XD and Illustrator)
You’re a human newsfeed for all your friends. You’re always first to know of the latest news and trends. After all, your daily RSS feed is filled with the latest from FastCo, Medium, TechCrunch, Wired, The Next Web, and Smashing Magazine.
Design and XD are your bread and butter. You get the big picture, but you understand that design is an iterative process and the beauty is in the details, micro interactions. As such, there shouldn’t be any blank stares when words like “agile” and “emotional design” are mentioned.
You speak in animated GIFs and internet memes. We come to work in sunglasses, shorts, and fuzzy animal slippers. End of story.
You have experience planning and executing both redesigns as well as new-concept design projects, from start to finish.
You have the ability to see and communicate your ideas to clients and the team.
