SharePoint Administrator – Universal Staffing (USSI) – Farmington, CT


Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
General Project Management. Our client has a number of courses queued up for deployment in 2016 that are in different stages of development. (Preferably with ability to use Microsoft Project) to help keep the teams on schedule as the courses move through the internal PADDIE Process.

Reporting. Need someone able to run reports from UTC’s Global Learning Portal (GLP) and provide toolkits for training completion across the enterprise.

SharePoint. This would be a two-part need:
Training Site Development: Qualified candidate to incorporate workflows for course reviews and approvals, workflows for reporting GLP glitches, RSS or blog feeds for reminders about training releases and completions, etc.

CITC and ITC360 Site Administration: Responsibilities would be to upload and update the site in an effort to streamline company?s internal websites in an effort to optimize the use of the ITC360 site to integrate RSS feeds for those who need to know about regulatory updates.

In-Person Training Capture. This is also a two-part need:
Conferences: Organize (general oversight) of conference logistics. Selected candidate would be responsible for managing the Global Training and Collaboration Center (working the Jabber and WebEx making sure the equipment is maintained, etc.). Event management and technology skills are important here.

Ad-Hoc Training: Utilizing SharePoint to capture the ad-hoc and other training.

Other Technical Skills (NOT REQUIRED). Experience working with illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign skills, it would be a plus. And lastly, any interest and/or experience in understanding video production would be wonderful. Video files are a key part of the training experience (some training is provided entirely via video), so a working knowledge of file types and video specifications would be a bonus.

Due to the nature of work, selected candidate must be a US Citizen or US Permanent resident.
