Participate as a member of the Canon Solutions implementation team in discovery sessions to understand the client’s business objectives and system needs The Solution Consultant is a key member of the solution project team and is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping client business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Solution Consultant works as a team member along with the Account Executive, Project Manager, and Solutions Engineer Lead testing to ensure the solution performs as designed Lead client training sessions Support clients through go-live process and a play key role in promoting solution adoption Work with the Project Manager to understand assigned project responsibilities and keep the projects on schedule Communicate progress and expectations, escalates problems to Project Manager for awareness and/or resolution Participate in weekly Bi-Weekly Status Meetings with the Project Manager and Solutions Consulting Director Job Requirements: Must be able to travel nationally, up to 75% at times, providing on-site consulting work to clients and have the ability to work remotely from your home office Must be able to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support Core Skills: Excellent business process and/or project experience using tools such as Visio, MS Project, Saleforce.com and any relational database system Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment. Technical aptitude and a high degree of self- motivation to train and achieve application, customizations and installations certifications Technical aptitude to train and gain proficiency with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and designated applications Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or applicable industry experience 5-7 years of relevant experience in professional services, sales or customer support operations Ability to learn and master new technologies with a technical and math aptitude Enterprise-level business project experience with strong process analysis, design, and documentation skills Excellent MS Office and MS product knowledge Strong interpersonal skills with superior written and verbal communication skills Extremely detail oriented and customer focused pre-sales, document management, print services
