The Legal and Regulatory Affairs department of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) welcomes intern applicants year round. NAB is a trade association that advocates on behalf of free, local radio and television stations and also broadcast networks before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the Courts. NAB legal interns can expect to work closely with our legal team and participate in our advocacy efforts on many hot-button communications law issues. NAB intern projects focus on a variety of legal issues, including regulatory, copyright and various First Amendment issues. Intern responsibilities include:

All applicants must be currently enrolled in law school. The Fall and Spring internship positions are unpaid, however, NAB staff will work with your law school’s academic credit or supervised externship programs. The summer internship pays a stipend.
