Responsible for cross-divisional efforts to reduce risk associated with the loss, corruption or unauthorized disclosure of confidential or private information

Provides recommendations and consultative services to IT and applicable operating groups to develop and implement appropriate procedures and internal controls that comply with policy standards

Ensures regulatory compliance with Internal Audit, Privacy Laws, etc.

Providing consultation to the Legal Division as it pertains to Privacy Protection when writing contracts

Implements audit/enforcement tools to monitor and enforce compliance with policies

Monitors regulatory requirements and other privacy regulations to ensure compliance

Identifies Corrective Action Plans and Risk Acceptance process administration ensuring continued oversight and monthly status reporting to Compliance Management

Develops and implements information security awareness as necessary and reports information security readiness to management

CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional) highly desired

2+ years of data security and privacy compliance experience required

Juris Doctorate a plus

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems a plus
