Position Overview:
Canon U.S.A., Inc.’s Corporate Human Resources department is currently seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Division. This position will either be based in Mt. Laurel, NJ or Melville, NY. We continually are focused on being a center for best practice and a hub of shared services for Canon Americas. We seek a talented corporate recruiter who can bring innovation and strong recruitment capabilities to our team. A demonstrated track record of success and prior experience in an online recruitment environment (leveraging a solid ATS) is required.

Responsibilities:
Managing the full life cycle recruitment process such as job posting, resume sourcing, interviewing, job offers, etc, utilizing varied methods.

Daily collaboration with line management to build strong business unit relationships and support recruitment needs/strategy.

Support new hire programs/on-boarding and internal employee development initiatives where appropriate.

Recruitment and New Hire project work as assigned (e.g. policy revisions, recruitment strategy review).

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience in a large organization. Experience in a Corporate Human Resources Department, ideally in an international work environment is preferred.

Experience recruiting for the medical device/pharmaceutical industry highly preferred.

Thorough understanding of Human Resources policy and guidelines and understanding of the operational metrics associated with recruiting.

Proficiency in the use of recruitment application systems and Microsoft Office is required.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in identifying passive candidates as well as screening high potential employees for success in an organization.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
