BA in marketing, communications, English, management or related field.
Min. 2-3 years of related experience in marketing, social media, web writing, online news and journalism, or website content development
Expertise using web-based software and applications, particulary content management systems. Familiarity with and/or interest in health issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent skills in writing for both print and online platforms. Proficiency using web-based software and applications, particularly content management systems. Basic familiarity with HTML/XHTML and CSS. Basic experience working with both audio and video files and have a basic understanding of multimedia editing software. Knowledge of standard office software. Basic understanding of photography, image compression and Photoshop, GIMP, or other image editing software.
