Web Services Administrator – Aquilent – Washington, DC

Aquilent is seeking a Web Services Administrator to join our team in Washington, DC.

Primary responsibilities include:
Participate in the requirements definition process.

Support conceptual design, detailed design, code, and unit test of critical software programs within a subsystem.

Support integration testing of programs within a subsystem. Generate formal design documentation.

Generate Interface Control Documents, documenting the interfaces between programs.

Support the development of Acceptance Test Plan and Procedures documents.

Support the development of customer design review materials.

Monitor system tasks and performance (e.g., ensuring Windows services are running properly).

Review system logs for anomalies.

Analyze and troubleshoot problems.

Add new users and synchronize them with the active directory.

Perform upgrades and testing.

Communicate with Oracle/Stellent technical support to resolve issues.

Resolve content publishing problems/issues.

Manage and monitor RSS feeds and email subscription services.

Monitor content publishing.

Coordinate and resolve issues with software and/or hosting service providers.

Provide end user support for the CMS.

Archive and backup tasks.

Administer the search engine (i.e., configuring, monitoring and reporting).

Monitor CFTC’s broken links.

Establish and publish performance metric reports.

Evaluate and test code upgrades and enhancements to ensure compliance with Section 508.

Periodically evaluate technical and business performance and recommendations for improvements.

Perform other CMS administration-related projects/services as required by the COR.

Web Design experience helpful

Windows System Administration – required

Content Management Service helpful including installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting

Web Services Configuration Experience – required
