Overview:
Cardinal Stritch University is currently seeking a qualified candidate for our Marketing department. Opportunity to lead the digital strategy for Cardinal Stritch University. Under the direction of the Director of University Marketing, you will guide the growth of our student populations and help promote the brand of Stritch throughout the community, with partners, donors, and alumni. The successful applicant is a marketing professional with:
- Digital-first thinking that influences customers through the entire journey
- Extensive work experience designing and implementing strategies and tactics across channels. Technical Skills should include all or some of the following: one or more CMS, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Ad Managers, Hubspot, or related
- Experience optimizing marketing communications plans
- Effective collaboration skills
- Ability to lead marketing communications measurement and optimization
Responsibilities:

- Plan and create effective digital content strategy across a broad array of channels, including paid media (programmatic display, social media and SEM)
- Manage the entire digital program through to the end with a strong emphasis on presenting results to our partners within the University
- Develop & manage the editorial calendar of the University for all web and digital communications to ensure achievement of goals
- Liaise with other marketing team members and university staff/faculty to ensure brand consistency
- Create and publish engaging content specifically written (including long form), social, and some audio and video
- Edit, proofread and improve other writers’ posts
- Oversee lead generation to drive enrollment in undergraduate, graduate and professional development programs
- Work with digital marketing agency to optimize paid and organic advertising as well as SEO
- Work with Director of University Marketing to ensure integration of digital and direct marketing (email, direct mail and SMS) and analytics
- Stay abreast of digital marketing trends in higher education
- coordinate regular meetings (2-3x per year) with a clear agenda and goals
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of experience in online advertising at a company with primary responsibility in digital analytics ROI, and involvement in a robust, growing online presence
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics, or related field required
- UX experience which includes design and testing
- Adobe Creative Suite including PhotoShop
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Search & Mobile) certification
- Technical knowledge includes Tags, JavaScript, widgets, RSS Feeds, HTML, CSS, APIs, etc.
