Position Summary:
The Opportunity
The primary responsibility of the HSE Manager RSS is to manage & improve the health, safety and environmental performance of Rotork Site Services (RSS) in line with organisational HSE strategy.
They will do so by systematically driving awareness, understanding and adherence to H&S standards across all RSS locations globally.
Major responsibilities include: ensuring Rotors compliance with environmental legislation, the management of the H&S actions database and KPI’s, the administration & management of the Rotork Incident Reporting Information System / Process, and involvement with yearly budgetary targets relating to the functions.
Additionally, it will drive a continuous improvement culture, establish an appropriate Environmental strategy in line with the wider Rotork HSE vision and feed into the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee chaired by the CEO.
Experience Requirements:
Up-to-date knowledge of HSE law and practice
Ability to relate to and influence all levels of an organization
Proven ability to summarise and present findings and suggestions in a structured, coherent, professional manner
Ability to develop and execute short- and long-term strategies and to execute tactical plans
The Successful Candidate Will Be:
Highly numerate, organised and analytical
A creative thinker and problem solver
Able to See the big picture and the strategic direction while developing highly ‘pragmatic’ and ‘bespoke’ solutions
