Digital Media Help Desk Analyst job – AVI Systems, Inc. – Minneapolis, MN


AVI’s Digital Media Support Analyst will serve as the technical resource between our customers and the vendors we represent. Supporting all things digital media including but not limited to signage, storage, streaming, content management, ingest, and transcoding that a customer solution could contain. Do you have knowledge in one or more of these fields? In this role, you will support and troubleshoot customers’ digital media solutions and recommend corrective actions.

Job Requirements

Provide support via phone and email for all supported solutions and escalate to vendor when necessary.

The qualified candidate will have solid experience supporting and troubleshooting hardware and software solutions based on several operating systems: Windows, iOS, Mac, Android, and Linux.

Knowledge of IP based networks and technologies.

Experience with RSS feeds is a plus.

The candidate should understand how to read and make minor modifications to custom scripts in any of the following languages: Python, PHP, Java, C#, C++, VisualBasic, Perl, SQL, HTML5, XML, SOAP, REST.

The ability to independently prioritize tasks and execute with little or no direction, and to interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner has direct results on success in this position.

This person must exhibit patience and understanding of customer problem situations when communicating with customers.

Experience with digital media systems and familiarity with digital media software and systems associated with Digital Media Networks (i.e., Scala, Tightrope, Key West, Navori, ScaleLogic, Quantum, Haivision, vBrick, Telestream) a plus.

Preferred Certifications: InfoComm CTS, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCP
