As the Entry level professional, applies broad knowledge in the conception, coordination, and control of Internet/Digital Marketing activities. Digital Marketing Specialist Associate will be responsible for day-to-day activities supporting assigned web properties managed by the Novant Health Digital Services Group, which includes but is not limited to the intranet, associated clinic sites, novanthealth.org and specialty sites. The activities include minor content updates, graphic support, CMS education, analytics, project management on new development and general web support.
He/she will be responsible for developing project plans for web development for Novant Health web properties and supporting team leads to ensure successful completion of all projects within scope and budget. Qualifications : Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field or computer science Preferred. Experience: One year of related experience Preferred.
Additional Skills Required: The candidate must have a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and a positive attitude. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team are also important. Proficiency with HTML, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop. Must be a self-starter with ability to take initiative.
Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies including social networking, blogs, RSS feeds, etc. Experience with online activities. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks within established deadlines. Good “people skills” and ability to work with all levels of Novant Health staff.
Ability to work effectively and with good judgment under pressure and without close supervision. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
