Field Based Position- The Online Marketing Manager consults, oversees and orchestrates Olympus’ Internet marketing efforts at the Dealer level, which range from Brand page development, search engine optimization, and online advertising to content marketing, viral marketing, and social media. The incumbent ensures that Olympus’ online goals and efforts are aligned with Olympus partners, including accounts and third party online marketing businesses.

Job Duties:

  • Build the Olympus brand across online shopping platforms to optimize Olympus’ potential to drive sales.

  • Ensure Olympus’ brand is recognized online, within Retail websites, and that the marketing is effective in its online setting with the accounts.

  • Creatively add value to the Consumer through effective marketing, merchandising, and product education within the Olympus partners’ web sites.

  • Coordinate marketing efforts of Olympus on behalf of Retailers with other departments within the company, such as Brand Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales.

  • Develop, implement and manage Olympus marketing campaigns that promote Olympus and our products and/or services within our Partners’ web space.

  • Make recommendations on enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic.

  • Track and evaluate marketing initiatives, collaborating with designers, working with the sales and client support teams and identifying new online marketing opportunities and trends.

  • Develop strategies that will help Olympus target new audiences, educate them, and create new customers within the Olympus Partners’ sites.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or relevant field or equivalent experience is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in online marketing is required.

  • Experience with social media, product launches, web tools, search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) is also required.

  • Flexibility, creativity, project and time management skills are essential.

  • Business savvy and excellent verbal and written communications skills are necessary.

  • Must be an expert at advertising products, events and services on the Internet Expert at advertising methods including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), e-mail marketing and banner ads.

  • Must be an expert at pay per click marketing, data analysis, usability, RSS and feeds, blogging and social networking, e-mail marketing and statistics.

  • Ability to conduct webinars, compile marketing data and monitor online competitors is necessary.

  • Must have excellent customer service, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
