The Network of Knowledge (NoK) Marketing Manager position is a strategic role in the Juniper Portfolio Marketing organization. This critical role requires strategic thinking as well as the can-do attitude of a proven individual leader. The Marketing Manager will work with various internal stakeholders to develop and execute the overall program strategy for Juniper Networks’ collaboration platform, the Network of Knowledge.


  • Manage the overall NoK site regarding strategy, alignment with IT and program needs. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, IT and Engineering teams to develop a strategy and roadmap of content and activities that align to Juniper’s business goals.
  • Track and support platform issues, and work with IT to resolve issues promptly.
  • Work across the company to develop and amplify strategic content through the various NoK channels. The Win, Vertical, Competitive and Technology rooms.
  • Work cross-functionally with the GTM Organization to develop programs and nurture strategies for NoK. Create plans per the specific NoK rooms.
  • Manage the NoK: Go Big Awareness Campaign in 2017. The Campaign includes: 1) Working closely with Product Marketing and the competitive and vertical leaders to ensure successful delivery of campaigns and programs including maximizing the digital marketing assets and programs for our sales teams. 2) Demonstrating NoK at leadership staff meetings. 3) Create webinars, podcasts, RSS feeds, award program and more.
  • Ensure that the programs are effective in the internal business areas consistently assessing the effectiveness globally.
  • Analyze NoK utilization and examine adoption metrics regularly to adjust strategy for effectiveness.
  • Maintain focus on metric attribution, efficacy of the NoK program and ease of implementation for internal partners.
  • Create quarterly Win Report and QBR metric slide for senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Results driven; does what it takes to get the job done and naturally goes the extra mile.
  • History of building and maintaining successful relationships with sales, IT, and PLM teams in order to build an enablement strategy and then to implement it.
  • As an individual contributor, have a range of marketing analytic, strategic and tactical skills to execute agreed upon plan and to take on new tasks as plans change to get the job done.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment with limited direction/supervision as well as adapt to continually changing priorities and project timeframes.
  • Strong collaboration skills to interact and influence key stakeholders in the business groups, marketing, IT and the field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a can do attitude and the ability to develop creative solutions to problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience with an understanding of sales enablement tactics.
  • Outstanding communication skills to quickly analyze information and use that analysis to concisely and accurately communicate recommended course of action.
  • Familiarity with systems such as: Office 365, SharePoint, WebTrends, SAVO, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of website development and the ability to work closely with IT to resolve issues promptly face-to-face.
