Specific Job Description (Accountabilities & Requirements)
We are currently seeking a Senior Operational Finance Analyst. The Operational Finance and Analytics organization, handling investment analysis, business analytics, and forecasting, is looking for an individual with a desire to excel and contribute to the highly visible effort of how we invest our resources and run our business. This organization interfaces with engineering, marketing, operations, finance, sales, and executive management to produce comprehensive business analysis, project investment return analysis, and long range, demand and revenue forecasting. We provide outstanding support and pride ourselves in our ability to analyze, summarize, and assess data in support of the decision making process.
The main responsibilities include:
Analyze a wide range of operational data, model, assess, and recommend project investments.
Be a key contributor to all aspects of modeling and forecasting our business and potential.
Use best practices, cash flow, net present value, book and fair market value modeling to assess asset valuation and project investment returns.
Develop, automate, and maintain project NPV ROI analyses and periodic reports
Develop the Operational Finance organization and drive new capabilities, efficiencies, and returns throughout the finance organization.
Required Skills
Qualifications:
BS or Master’s degree Finance or MBA (or equivalent)
5-7 years of direct experience preferred
Experience in FP&A, Business, and Market analysis required
Experienced in using industry accepted modeling techniques to assess future value
Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with Data Warehouse tools a plus
Assertive, analytical and results-oriented with strong business acumen
Ability to build working relationships with and communicate with a diverse group of people
Self-motivated and self-directed with a positive attitude
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a demanding environment, making appropriate decisions with ability to prioritize responsibilities
Detailed and tactically focused yet able to influence strategic processes
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
