The Dow AgroSciences Pricing Coordinator role will provide leadership and technical expertise to an empowered team working to establish and implement best practices to support a world class Seed production operation. This role will also work with Seed Growers, Production Leaders, and Field Coordinators at our Dow AgroSciences (DAS) locations to implement and improve pricing processes within North American Seed Operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all pricing activities related to seed production based in North America.
  • Implement or improve work practices, procedures, and/or processes to ensure high quality records and communication. Collaborate with Production Leaders and Field Coordinators to ensure operational consistency across all DAS seed production facilities.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the plant teams by:

o Understanding of grain markets.

o Utilization of grain market intelligence.

o Analyzing Cash Markets, Futures Markets, and impacts to portfolio.

  • Coordinate pre/post season pricing activities in preparation of in-season activities.
  • Collaborate with the Production Leader and Field Coordinators for implementation of training events related to grower pricing activities.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and monitor location spending against budget.
  • Coordination and administration with the Production Leaders and field Coordinators on our DAS Grower Data entry tool “SeedPro”.
  • Report timely and accurately each weekly hedge report.
  • Full understanding of farmer contracts written between DAS and Seed Growers.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to articulate contracts and payments with Management and Seed Growers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills, as well as an ability to lead a team & facilitate problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal effectiveness skills.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.


  • Associate’s degree/4+ years military experience.
