We’re looking for our first product marketing manager to lead the charge on how we position and message our SaaS platform, Wordsmith. As the product marketing manager, you’ll be charged with teaching prospects about the product, from sales collateral to our website to analyst briefings. The ideal candidate is a master at teaching complex, technical topics to non-technical audiences.
What we’re looking for:
A brilliant writer: Your writing should be stellar. You should be able to break down complex topics into terse, jargon-free prose that is understandable and persuasive.
A communicator in all media: Whether in illustration, video, spoken, or written form, you should be gifted at conveying information to an audience.
An ally for our sales team: You should view our outbound team as your customers, whom you need to arm with the collateral to overcome any objection or customer attack.
A consummate reader: You should know the leading voices and debates in the marketing community. You recognize that your career is based on learning from the best people and applying those lessons everyday. Your RSS feed and bookmarks folder should be like an encyclopedia of product marketing.
An expert in our software: You don’t need to be a software developer, but you should come to know everything possible about our product if you come onboard by learning all the ins-and-outs, you can perfectly explain it to our prospects.
No recruiters, please. We respect your hustle, but please don’t contact us. We do not work with outside firms.
