Your solutions will improve productivity, giving vital time back to our scientists and will also enable DAS R&D to capture, integrate and harvest invaluable data for insightful decisions and outcomes. As a role model and an advocate for innovative problem solving you will often leverage the best ideas and practices within the Ag industry and across the life sciences industry including pharmaceuticals, health care, genomics and others. You will keep pace with changes in technology, often leading those changes at DAS. You will be a role model for combining rational thought and emotional intelligence to make DAS R&D laboratories the best in the industry.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of industrial experience within Software development/LIMS development as a consultant/developer/architect
2+ years of experience in the Lifesciences domain – Ag/ Pharma/ Health Care
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics or a related field
7+ years of industrial experience within Software development/LIMS development as a consultant/developer/architect
5+ years of experience in the Lifesciences domain – Ag/ Pharma/ Health Care
2+ years of experience with technologies/platforms such as Labware, Nautilus, StarLIMS, Electronic Lab Notebook
2+ years with programming microcontrollers/devices
2+ years with cloud computing
1+ years developing mobile friendly applications
Experience with SDLC (Software Development LifeCycle), architecture and Pipeline Pilot is desired
Demonstrated ability to translate user needs into solution design and implement design with error free, elegant code is desired
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across several labs building trusted partnerships is desired
Demonstrated ability to determine state of the art for Lab Informatics in the industry and champion innovative solutions within the organization is desired
Working knowledge of computer systems validation principles and regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11, 40 CFR Part 160 is desired
Process Optimization/Modeling/Improvement (Six Sigma) experience is desired.
