We are looking for a Writer/Digital Content Producer who can collaborate with teams to bring the voices, stories, resources, and concepts of Harvard Library to life. Focusing on crafting, migrating, and keeping content fresh on the Harvard Library website and its other digital platforms, reporting to the Director of Communications, the Writer/Digital Content Producer works collaboratively with the Harvard Library Web Team and other departments to support content presentation and strategy on our external digital presence. Emphasis will be on ensuring the overall consistency of the user experience, improving the clarity of content, and helping to coordinate the daily management of library digital products, including library.harvard.edu. The position calls for a candidate who can write clearly under deadline, edit to sharpen ideas, and is confident conceptualizing, drafting, and editing user-focused content. The candidate will be working closely with subject matter experts across the Library to adapt their content for the web, editing for clarity, brevity, and user-focus. Responsibilities include: At least 3 years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in digital content production/writing for the web, web content management, communications, or related field. Must have strong communication skills, be highly organized, be committed to a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
